Unfortunately this is a common trend specially the novels from Heavenly Silkworm Potato. It’s a rinse and repeat plot. There’s only 1 common enemy and they’ll just send an enemy that is a little bit stronger than the protagonist and will help him level up lol. Among his novels though, believe it or not Martial Universe has the better plot, but the studio is not giving it justice. The Great Ruler and the Dragon Prince Yuan seems to have a better adaptation by the studios.
