Description: Chen Changsheng, a young man of mysterious origins, is prophesied to die before the age of twenty due to his unique constitution. Determined to defy fate, he follows his master’s orders and travels to the Divine Capital of the human realm with a marriage contract in hand. His goal is to win first place in the highest-level Grand Imperial Examination, thereby earning the right to enter the Tomb of Heavenly Books to study the steles and seek a way to extend his life. In the Divine Capital, the marriage contract draws him into complex power struggles involving the Saintess Xu Yourong. Soon, an even greater crisis emerges: the forces of the demon race begin stirring in secret, plotting to overthrow the human race. Relying on his vast knowledge, Chen Changsheng makes his debut at the Ivy Banquet, then goes on to claim first place in the Grand Imperial Examination, gaining entry to the Tomb of Heavenly Books. There, he not only comprehends profound cultivation techniques but also uncovers a connection between his own origins and a massive conspiracy from years past. After leaving the Tomb of Heavenly Books, Chen Changsheng enters the Zhou Garden secret realm with companions such as Xu Yourong, Luoluo, and Tang Thirty-Six. Inside the Zhou Garden, they clash head-on with the demon race. Chen Changsheng ultimately inherits Zhou Dufu's legacy and uncovers the shocking possibility that he is the Crown Prince Zhaoming. This revelation thrusts him into the eye of the storm…
Yes, this is the 3D adaptation of Ze Tian Ji (Way lf Choice). There is a 2d anime which deviate from the novel plot, a live action one also, now this…I loved the slow character building, political intrigued and drama and action of the novel. I completed the novel and was hooked… I never finished watching the 2d anime cause I fear it will spoil the novel in my mind I came too love.
If you haven’t read the novel. then you’ll be fine.
He has no cultivation? But he’s got a literal encyclopedia brain for formations and academy rules. Did I miss something? or did they just jump straight in without explanation.
That stingy teacher does a great job at showing what a pita he is and will be to everyone else. Busy using personal unspoken rules to try to trump established rules? They call that an “opinion”, and those dont work on reople upholding ACTUAL rules.
Wait, so they are risking their honor-bound engagement with his master, because he’s not what they hoped he would be? They are risking even more than “their reputation” by refusing him based on his appearance or current aptitude. If the master, who seems to be a supreme, finds out that you broke the agreement and refused based on biased principles, he could ruin your entire family bloodline, let alone your reputation. Seems like you are hoping your government will bail you out with an excuse, but in stories like these, as was shown before, rules and regulations seem to mean nothing when faced with actual power.
Wait, “a commoner from the mountains”…? You entered an engagement contract with his master without knowing who he was? Even if it’s just because he saved your life, you should know more than that as a military officer, and as a father. From the looks of it, YOU sent the proposal, not them. Did you not think about the consequence of going back on your word just because “he’s a commoner”? What kind of person would value anything you say from that moment forward?
From the look that the maid gave, she’s in on something. Is she a spy? Or is she paid off by some high society suitor?
This show is epic! Don’t miss it!
Hmmm i keep watching for now………….
this is actually pretty good
Wait isn’t his the same plot of Ze Tian Ji?
